Use a horse race to choose teams or turn order
The random team picker turns a list of people, teams, or tasks into a result everyone can watch. Use it to decide who goes first, assign presentation order, select a team captain, or create an impartial sequence for a classroom, sports practice, office activity, or game night.
Choose what each horse represents
A racer can represent one person, an existing team, a classroom group, or an activity. If you need a complete order, keep every participant in the race and read the finish from first to last. If you only need one selection, the first horse across the line is the pick.
Paste a classroom roster
Classroom mode is designed for a list of student names. Paste names separated by commas or new lines, apply the roster, and run a lower-distraction race that spotlights one result. It works for questions, jobs, presentations, reading turns, and any moment when a visible random choice feels fairer.
Run it on a stream or shared display
OBS / Streamer mode uses a clean widescreen race view with larger on-screen names. Add the browser window to your broadcast or share the screen in a call so the group sees the draw unfold. A medium or custom duration gives viewers enough time to follow their assigned horse.
Agree on the rule before the race
Random tools work best when the group knows what the finish means. Decide whether you are choosing one winner, establishing a complete order, or running multiple rounds. If you repeat a race, each run is a fresh random result rather than a continuation of the previous finish.

Does a horse or name have an advantage?
No. Horse appearance and participant names are labels only. Movement varies independently during every race, so changing the order of the list or selecting a different sprite does not reserve a winning lane. Run the race where everyone can see it for a transparent group decision.
